Natural Frut was built in the cacao region of Baixo Sul, precisely in the city of Gandu-Bahia, where its creator spent part of his childhood on the farm with his father growing cacao. As a teenager, Vanilton Bitencourt Santo moved to Salvador to study and work. Since then, he has nurtured the dream of undertaking in the Agroindustrial area. At the beginning of 2011, he returned to Gandu, where he leased a small idle fruit processing plant with a capacity of 0.5 Ton/H and, together with one of his brothers, Alan Frank Bitencourt Santo, started the operation of pulp production. of fruits. Always seeking to value local production and encouraging agricultural diversification through fruit growing by small family farmers. Vanilton and Alan Frank embraced the idea of ​​building a large-scale commercial production plant. The dream came true in 2017, with the construction of the new Natural Frut agro-industry in a built-up area of ​​10,000m² in the municipality of Gandu, with a production capacity of 8 to 10 ton/h. The brand is registered and operated by the Cooperativa de Desenvolvimento Sustentável do Sul da Bahia (COOPADESBA) – composed of approximately 900 small family farmers from different regions of the State of Bahia. Natural Frut opened on August 29, 2019 and currently offers around 24 flavors of excellent quality fruit pulp.
